Nancy filmfest to host Iran’s ‘The Dream of a Horse’

The Nancy International Film Festival in France has been scheduled to screen Iranian short film ‘The Dream of a Horse’.

The 25-minute flick by Marjan Khosravi will hit the screen at the main competition section of the French event’s 28th edition.

‘The Dream of a Horse’ is about the challenges of the life of a 15-year-old nomadic girl. Regardless of her limited environment, she has great expectations and dreams in life. The dreams which go beyond the mountains that surround the region she lives in.

The flick has already been in participation in the 62nd Krakow Film Festival in Poland.

It is also slated to be screened at the Sao Paolo Film Festival in Brazil, the religion Today Film Festival in Italy and the Belgrade Int’l Film Festival in Serbia.

The 2022 edition of the Nancy International Film Festival will take place in the northeastern French riverfront city on August 26-September 4.

Marine Ottogalli, Igor Ivanov and Alain Chrétien will judge the movies at the official competition section of the festival.
